Thomas and Natasha had their wedding ceremony on August 2nd. They are adorable, and they have great friends and amazing families. It was a wonderful weekend getting to know everyone. This was my first wedding at The Kennedy School. This historic elementary school has been a beloved fixture of its Northeast Portland neighborhood. McMenamins has renovated the once-abandoned scholastic gem and turned it into Portland's most delightful lodging establishment. At The Kennedy School you may chew gum, laugh out loud, take a nap in class, enjoy an aged whiskey and a cigar in detention, enjoy a movie in the old auditorium, or... GET MARRIED!
I know this Sneak Peek is pretty heavy on the 'getting ready' photos, but they are possibly one of my favorites of the images of a wedding. The 'calm before the storm', you might say...
