Photography by Emmalee (part one)

Emmalee has been taking pictures with her own camera for almost three years now. At age 5, I see some real skill! She has a photo-journalistic approach similar to my own, and seems to enjoy portraiture as well.

If you'd like to see some of her earlier work (dating back to 2007), visit I recently emptied her camera onto the computer and found almost 200 shots from the last few months. I'm breaking them into two posts of 20 images I found most interesting... Enjoy, but be warned, if you know Emmalee you're likely to be found in her camera...

Sophie turns TWO!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Sophie!

We love you!
