Sophie is a fish!
Sophie is SO HAPPY in the water!
If you've ever seen Sophie's Mommy give her impression of Fire Marshall Bill...Well, there's no need to teach Soph, she's got it down already!
Emmalee is 4 and a half!
We went to 'Uncle Scott, Auntie and Sophie's house' on Saturday for a BBQ. Today, Emmalee is officially 4.5 years old!

Project 365: my new vintage treasures
My dad recently passed down his old cameras to me, and I was eager to snap some shots to share. The above image features a Mansfield Holiday II 8mm Cine Turret Camera (with a built-in exposure meter) from the early 1960's. Below you'll see a Kodak No. 2 Folding Autographic Brownie, a folding camera for type 116 autographic film. These 'brownies' were produced between 1915 and 1926 and sold for a whopping $2.50!

Sneak Peek: Jenni and Mike
I met Jenni and Mike in Lincoln City, OR during a special beach trip celebrating a big relationship milestone for them. There is something very special about this couple, they're so cute and I've got a feeling they have an amazing future in store for them. I'm also so excited to meet their children for a fun portrait session in a few weeks!

Sneak Peek: 2 Beautiful Boys
This little guy's name is Otto and it was his 2nd Birthday when I came for their session. Otto introduced me to his sweet 2-week-old little brother, Simon, and he could hardly keep his hands off him, he's really good at giving kisses! These boys aren't just adorable, I think they have the most perfect names, and will probably be best friends for life!
... and what we've all been waiting for; those happy, sleepy newborn smiles!

Emmalee's Last Swim Lesson
Emmalee has been taking swim lessons through Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation for over a year now. She has grown enormously since the beginning when she had a strong fear of water. That fear must be in her genes because both her mommy and her daddy would cling to the pool wall and scream when they had swim lessons as a kid. She is much more comfortable in the water now and can almost swim by herself. We are going to take the summer off from swim lessons, but she will be going to a week-long summer camp in July where they get to go swimming every day! We are all excited for that!
