Somehow I was lucky enough to attend and photograph Olivia's first and second birthdays.

We were invited to our friend Olivia's second birthday party. Emmalee has been very excited for many days - she loves birthday parties! It was a cute party for a little girl who truly has the sweetest spirit.

No photos of Emmalee you ask? I know. But that's okay. She gets it all the time. Today we are going to the pumpkin patch with Sophie and Olivia (and parents too), so I'll get some photos of all of the girls, and will share soon.

Emmalee's first day of swim lessons - part uno

Emmalee and Isaac really like Sebastian, their swim teacher. They love that the crab in Little Mermaid is named Sebastian. Maybe Sebastian, the swim teacher is the Little Merman? Anyway, he is really good, I can't believe what he gets them to do. Emmalee would never, EVER do these things with us. She clings to us with her nails, like a cat climbing a tree. We have swim lessons after school every Tuesday and Thursday for the next 7 or 8 weeks. (Sorry, about the blur, I had the wrong settings on the camera).

Isaac takes violin lessons

Emmalee's little friend, Isaac, is three. We'll be taking him to his lessons for the next 2 weeks. It might seem ridiculous for a 3 year old to take violin lessons, but he sure does look cute. He is currently mastering how to hold the bow correctly.

Sneak Peek: Little Jenna

I spent a couple of hours with Jenna (18 months old) about 2 weeks ago. Let me try to explain how I know her. Jenna is my sisters' husbands' cousins' daughter. I think. ;-) She is too cute!

VIDEOS: The Children's Museum

Emmalee and I met Lori (my sister) and Sophie (9 months), and Heather and Olivia (2 years) at The Children's Museum last Friday. It's definitely a great thing to do on a rainy day. Emmalee has been getting very creative with the face paint as you can see in the video (the kids do their own face painting). Olivia had a blast, as everything at the Children's Museum is really geared toward her age. Of course there's a 'baby garden' that Sophie explored, but I can see her running around the place in just a few short months! It was a fun time, but sure tired me out!
