Washington Park Playground

After preschool on Tuesday, I took the kids to the Washington Park playground. It's right between the Oregon Zoo and the Children's Museum, next to the Rose Garden. It features a large playground, sand area, and Emmalee discovered a way to play in water too. You can see the Zoo Train from the playground as it goes by as well.

Whatever I Want... I'm gonna get it!

Turn on your volume and listen to my new blog song! The best song ever! It's perfect and it was written about me!

Happy Thursday! (we're going to the beach tomorrow, so it's a happy Thursday for us!)

Happy Anniversary Shasta & Stuart

Yesterday my friend Shasta and her husband Stuart celebrated their first anniversary. I had the extreme pleasure of photographing their wedding in upstate New York. It was an amazing and unforgettable trip I will never forget. Happy Anniversary, you two! I love you!

BFF's

Yesterday I took my new camera and lens for a spin, practiced on the 'little ones'.

She might not like to admit it, but Isaac is Emmalee's best friend.

Our Labor Day 2008

View of Portland from Pittock Mansion

* all photos courtesy of MY NEW CAMERA! The Canon 40D!
Aside from housecleaning and yard work, dishes and laundry, we spent our Labor Day driving through Washington Park and visiting the Pittock Mansion. I got to give my new camera and new lens (100mm f/2.8) a try. Then we visited with Uncle Scott, Auntie and SOPHIE! More photos to come...

My first stab at MACRO
