I was thrilled to meet Laura and Cesar in Cannon Beach last week (in perfect weather!) to shoot their engagement portraits. After having to endure a long-distance relationship throughout their college careers, this sweet, young couple are excited to spend the rest of their lives together, and it shows. Getting married at the Portland Oregon Temple in December, here's to success in their new titles; bride, groom, husband, wife and any more they will pick up over the years together. :-) Thank you Laura and Cesar for letting me be a part of your wedding journey!

The 'D' Family {portland family photographer}
I got to spend a warm evening with the 'D' family again this week.. Three years and one daughter later. One of my favorites parts about the job I do is getting to watch babies, kiddos and families grow. These little girlies (ages 1 and 4) are one of a kind; spunky and smart with sparkling eyes. And perhaps slightly feisty, but totally fun. :-) Many thanks to the 'D' family!

our very own special arrival
Two weeks ago we welcomed our own baby girl, Lucy Jean, to the world. It was an amazing day, a quick and wonderful experience, and a joyful moment for our entire family. At 2:03 on July 26th we became a family of four. I must thank my friends and family for being there for all of us, for helping out, bringing food and gifts, as it is moments like these when we realize who our support circle is and how much we love and appreciate them. I also want to thank Lulabell Photography for capturing such memorable images throughout the birth, and Aedan Studio for bearing six hours with us for the newborn session. I will forever be thankful for both of these 'photographer-friends', as I obviously couldn't have done it myself! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
